Termini e condizioni del servizio

1. Introduction

Welcome to EGLANTIER.

These Terms of Service govern your use of the EGLANTIER website and your purchase of products from us.

By accessing or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use our website.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit any rights or remedies you may have under applicable consumer protection law.

2. About Us

EGLANTIER specialises in the sale of authentic pre-owned luxury handbags.

Our products are pre-owned and may therefore show signs of previous use. We aim to provide accurate descriptions and photographs of each item so that customers can make an informed purchasing decision.

All products are carefully inspected by our team before being listed and again before dispatch.

3. Product Authenticity

We guarantee that every handbag sold by EGLANTIER is authentic.

Each handbag is carefully inspected and authenticated before dispatch.

Where applicable, an Entrupy or LegitGrails Certificate of Authenticity may be provided with the item, as stated in the relevant product listing.

Our authentication process may include examination of the item's materials, construction, stitching, hardware, serial number or date code, and other identifying characteristics.

As our products are pre-owned, minor signs of wear may be present.

Any noticeable imperfections, signs of wear or other relevant condition issues will be described in the product listing and, where appropriate, shown in the product photographs.

4. Product Descriptions and Condition

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that all product descriptions, photographs and information displayed on our website are accurate.

Because our products are pre-owned, no two items are necessarily identical in condition.

Customers should carefully review the photographs, description and condition information provided for each item before purchasing.

Minor variations in colour may occur due to photography, lighting, screen settings or other factors.

5. Orders

All orders are subject to product availability and acceptance by EGLANTIER.

An order placed through our website constitutes an offer to purchase the relevant product. A contract is formed when we accept the order and confirm the purchase.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order where:

  • The product is no longer available;
  • A pricing or listing error has occurred;
  • We reasonably suspect fraudulent or unauthorised activity;
  • Payment cannot be successfully processed;
  • There is an error in the product description or listing;
  • Exceptional circumstances prevent us from fulfilling the order; or
  • We are otherwise entitled to do so under applicable law.

If we cancel an order after payment has been received, we will refund the amount paid using the original payment method, subject to applicable law.

6. Pricing & Payment

All prices are displayed in GBP (£) unless otherwise stated.

Payment must be received in full before an online order is processed and dispatched.

We accept the payment methods made available at checkout.

Prices may change from time to time. Any price change will not affect an order that has already been accepted and confirmed.

Where a pricing error is identified before an order is accepted, we reserve the right to correct the error and, where appropriate, contact the customer before accepting the order.

7. Shipping & Delivery

Dispatch Times

Flash Sale items are normally dispatched within 2-3 business days.

All other items are normally dispatched within 5-10 business days to allow sufficient time for final quality inspection, authentication and careful packaging.

These timeframes are estimates and may vary depending on circumstances.

Delivery

Delivery times are estimates and may vary depending on the courier, destination, customs procedures and other circumstances outside our control.

Where complimentary DHL delivery is offered, the applicable delivery terms will be stated at the time of purchase.

Customers should ensure that the delivery address provided at checkout is accurate and complete.

8. Returns & Refunds

8.1 Online Purchases – 14-Day Return Period

For eligible purchases made online, customers have the right to cancel their order within 14 days of receiving the item, subject to applicable UK consumer law.

To help us process returns efficiently, we kindly ask customers to contact us within 2 business days of receiving the item to notify us of their intention to return it.

Once a customer has notified us of their intention to cancel, the item must be returned within the applicable period required by law.

Customers do not need to provide a reason when exercising a statutory cancellation right.

8.2 Return Eligibility

For a change-of-mind return, the item should be returned in the same condition in which it was received.

The following conditions apply:

  • The item must be returned in the same condition as received.
  • Our original security tag / identification tag must remain attached and intact.
  • The security tag must not be removed, cut, altered, damaged or tampered with.
  • The item must not have been worn, used, altered, repaired or damaged beyond what is reasonably necessary to inspect the item.
  • All original accessories must be returned.
  • This includes dust bags, boxes, authenticity cards, tags, receipts, certificates and other paperwork where applicable.
  • Any other items originally supplied with the order must also be returned.
  • The item must pass our inspection and authenticity verification upon return.

Each item is photographed and documented before dispatch.

Our records may include photographs and details of:

  • Overall condition;
  • Serial number or date code;
  • Hardware;
  • Stitching;
  • Interior and exterior details;
  • Accessories;
  • Security / identification tag; and
  • Other unique identifying characteristics.

These records may be used to verify the identity, condition and authenticity of the returned item.

8.3 Inspection and Reduction in Value

Customers are entitled to handle and inspect an item to the extent reasonably necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functionality.

If an item is returned in a condition that has reduced its value beyond what is reasonably necessary to inspect the item, we reserve the right to make an appropriate deduction from the refund where permitted by applicable law.

No deduction will be made merely because a customer has reasonably inspected the item.

8.4 Security Tag

Our security / identification tag is an important part of our return and verification process.

For change-of-mind returns, the original security tag must remain attached, intact and unaltered.

If the security tag has been removed, cut, damaged or tampered with, we may refuse the return or make an appropriate deduction from the refund, where permitted by applicable law.

8.5 Non-Returnable Situations

Subject to the customer's statutory rights, a change-of-mind return may be refused or an appropriate deduction may be made where:

  • The item has been used or worn beyond what is reasonably necessary for inspection;
  • The item shows additional wear or damage that was not present at the time of sale;
  • Our security / identification tag has been removed, damaged or tampered with;
  • Original accessories, paperwork, certificates or other items supplied with the purchase are missing;
  • The item has been altered, repaired or modified after delivery;
  • The item has been damaged while in the customer's possession; or
  • The returned item is not the same item that was originally supplied.

Nothing in this section affects any statutory rights the customer may have.

8.6 Return Shipping

For change-of-mind returns, the customer is responsible for the cost of returning the item to us.

We strongly recommend using a fully tracked and appropriately insured delivery service suitable for the value of the item.

The customer remains responsible for the item until it has been safely delivered to us.

Although we may provide complimentary DHL express delivery for the original order, the treatment of any original delivery charge following a cancellation or return will be handled in accordance with applicable law.

Where a customer has selected a delivery service that costs more than our standard delivery option, we will only be responsible for refunding the amount required by applicable law.

Where an item is returned because it is faulty, not authentic or materially not as described, we will deal with the return and applicable delivery costs in accordance with the customer's statutory rights.

8.7 Refunds

Refunds will be processed after the returned item has been received and inspected, subject to the customer's statutory rights.

Our inspection may include checking:

  • Overall condition;
  • Security / identification tag;
  • Serial number or date code;
  • Hardware;
  • Stitching and construction;
  • Interior and exterior details;
  • Accessories and paperwork;
  • Other identifying characteristics recorded before dispatch; and
  • Authenticity.

If the return is approved, the refund will be made to the original payment method subject to any lawful deduction permitted under applicable law.

For statutory cancellations, refunds will be processed within the period required by applicable law.

Where permitted by law, we may withhold a refund until we have received the returned item.

The time required for the funds to appear in the customer's account will depend on the payment provider.

9. In-Person Purchases

Customers who purchase an item in person, including purchases completed following an appointment with us(normally in London) , are given the opportunity to inspect the item before completing the purchase.

Customers are encouraged to carefully inspect the item, including:

  • Condition;
  • Hardware;
  • Stitching;
  • Serial number or date code;
  • Accessories;
  • Authenticity-related details; and
  • Other relevant characteristics.

Once the customer has inspected the item and completed the purchase in person, the purchase is considered final in respect of a subsequent change of mind.

In-person purchases are not eligible for return or exchange simply because the customer subsequently changes their mind or no longer wishes to keep the item.

This does not affect any statutory rights the customer may have, including rights relating to goods that are faulty,not authentic.

10. Faulty, Incorrect, Unauthentic or Misdescribed Items

If you believe that you have received:

  • An incorrect item;
  • An item that is faulty;
  • An item that is not authentic; or
  • An item that is materially not as described,

please contact us as soon as possible with details of the issue and supporting photographs where appropriate.

We will investigate the matter and provide an appropriate remedy in accordance with applicable law.

The normal change-of-mind return conditions do not override any statutory rights relating to faulty, unauthentic or materially misdescribed goods.

11. Exchanges

Exchanges may be offered at our discretion and are subject to inspection and approval.

For eligible online purchases, the original item must be returned in the same condition as received, with our original security / identification tag intact and all original accessories and documentation included.

A replacement item will only be dispatched after the returned item has been received and approved.

Nothing in this section affects the customer's statutory rights.

12. Authenticity Guarantee

Every handbag sold by EGLANTIER is carefully inspected for authenticity before dispatch.

Where a third-party authentication service has been used, this will be stated in the relevant product listing.

Where an Entrupy or LegitGrails certificate is provided, the certificate relates to the specific item identified by the relevant authentication service.

Our authentication process and pre-dispatch documentation are intended to protect both our customers and EGLANTIER and to ensure that the condition and identifying characteristics of each item are accurately recorded before dispatch.

  • Serial number or date code;
  • Hardware;
  • Stitching;
  • Interior and exterior details;
  • Accessories;
  • Security / identification tag;

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited under applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any statutory rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

All website content, including text, photographs, images, logos, graphics, product descriptions and other materials, is the property of EGLANTIER or is used with permission unless otherwise stated.
